Journey Finda provides travel consultation and customer support via our Facebook Page Messenger. If you have questions about this policy, contact us at travelheroasia@gmail.com.

When you interact with our Messenger chatbot or message our Facebook Page, we may receive and store:

Page-scoped user ID (PSID) or equivalent identifiers provided by Meta
Message content you send to the Page (text and supported attachments)
Message metadata such as timestamps, language hints, and delivery/read indicators (when available)
Conversation context you provide for travel advice (destinations, dates, budget, preferences)

3) How we use your data

We use the data above to:

Respond to your travel questions and provide recommendations
Prepare itineraries and assist with booking requests
Provide customer support and improve reply quality
Maintain service security, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot issues

4) Legal basis / consent

By messaging our Page, you request our assistance and allow us to process your messages to provide the service. You can stop at any time by discontinuing the conversation or requesting deletion (see Data Deletion page).

5) Sharing of data

We do not sell your personal data. We may share data only:

With service providers that help us run the system (hosting, logging, monitoring), under confidentiality
If required to comply with law, enforce our rights, or protect users and the public

6) Data retention

We retain Messenger conversation data only as long as needed for customer support and service improvement. Typical retention is up to 180 days, unless we must keep it longer for legal, accounting, or security reasons. You can request deletion at any time (see Data Deletion).

7) Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect information (access controls, encryption in transit, logging). No system is 100% secure; however, we continuously work to reduce risk.

8) Your choices and rights

You may request access, correction, or deletion of your data by emailing travelheroasia@gmail.com.

9) Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the “Effective date” above when changes are made.
